Ross E. Heller

Researching by Abraham Lincoln: His 1858 Time Capsule, he is also discoverer of new facts of America’s most-storied life; a life about which no one could imagine anything new could ever be found.

Ida M. Tarbell’s 1924 In the Footsteps of the Lincolns led to his search for the full story of 1901’s Abraham Lincoln: His Book Facsimile. These discoveries have now provided a better understanding that Lincoln’s 1858 scrapbook, is truly a time capsule gift.

That the “Galena” copy of the Facsimile will be available to all, it has been donated to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield, Illinois.

Mr. Heller lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
